East Midlands, West Midlands, South West, Swim Wales Open Water Championships 2026

The Regional Open Water Series returns on Sunday, 21 June 2026, and is open to all swimmers aged 13 and over as of 31 December 2026. Each age group will compete over a designated distance, ensuring fair and exciting racing for all participants.

Race Distances by Age Group

• 13 years: 2 km
• 14–15 years: 3 km
• 16 years, 17–18 years, and 19+ (including Masters): 5 km

This event welcomes Masters swimmers as well.

How to Enter

Please note that our club competition secretary cannot process entries. All swimmers must register directly through the Swim Wales website or via the event link provided on their events page.

A beautiful open‑water venue ideal for both experienced and first‑time competitors.

Event Time Limits

To ensure safety and smooth running of the programme, the following cut‑off times will apply:

• 1 km: 30 minutes
• 2 km: 1 hour
• 3 km: 1 hour 30 minutes
• 5 km: 2 hours
